Biograd is well-located between Zadar and Split airports for ease of access. It is also superbly located for sailing due to the nearby coastal and island destinations!
Tiger Lil, our Elba 45 catamaran is docked at the Marina Kornati in the middle of the historic Dalmatian Coast.
The old city center is a small seafront with a warren of lanes leading to cafes, shops, taverns and churches.
Marina Kornati, Biograd, at the red star, has many nearby destinations along the coast and the several island chains running north and south. The Kornati National Park Islands are the most western islands.
Croatian family restaurants and taverns, called Konobas, can be found at many of the island coves. Often mooring balls and sometimes dockage is free if eating at their Konoba. The food and atmosphere are excellent!
The Kornati National Park is a short sail from Biograd. These unique islands display facinating geological formations and have many secluded coves to visit.
