The yacht is designed to balance sailing excellence and cruising comfort. She is a thorough blue water cruiser with excellent sea handling, maneuvers easily, points well and can cruise at high average speeds in comfort:

– The stern hull stair to the water give easy boarding access,
– wide side decks make for easy and safe passage to the forward trampolines,
– there is direct access to the cockpit from the lounge and galley,

The Lagoon 42 comes with large hull windows and vertical windows in the saloon; light and excellent
ventilation from numerous opening hatches.

Accommodation consists of 4 double cabins, 2 in each hull. Each cabin has a bathroom, two with separate stand-up showers. Throughout the boat there is plenty of storage, great ventilation and abundant light.

It is equipped with an electric winch, a generator for at-sea electricity, microwave, ample fridges, cabin fans, radio/CD player and davits to raise the dinghy.
